About the cottage
Thunder Beach Retreat offers the cozy charm of a classic cottage atmosphere with all the modern conveniences. Ideal for a couple of families stays or small group getaways, it comfortably sleeps up to 13 guests (mix of adults and children). With plenty of room for unwinding or remote working, the cottage has a “work-from-cottage” station, a stand-alone man cave with a pool table, and amenities that cater to every season, occasion and preference. Enjoy the barrel sauna, hot tub, and a spacious backyard with a firepit perfect for starry nights and delicious s’mores. This place is the ultimate family getaway.

Hi, we’re
Masha and Max!
In 2020, we discovered the town of Tiny and instantly fell for its charm—the towering trees, the friendly community, and the beaches that make you forget all about the chaos of daily life. That’s when we opened the doors to Thunder Beach Retreat.
Since then, we’ve built a second cottage, Georgian Sands, a special place for even more unforgettable getaways in this beautiful area.
For us, these aren’t just cottages; they’re our little slices of heaven. Summers mean lazy afternoons at the beach, fall for cozy nights by the fire, and in the winter, we hit the snowy hills with the kids.
We’ve poured our heart into both of these cottages so that others can feel what we feel here. Whether you're looking for a quiet escape or a new favorite tradition, we can’t wait for you to experience the magic we’ve found in Tiny.

About our favorite beach
Thunder Beach is hands down one of the most beautiful beaches we've ever seen. It's peaceful, private, and only accessible to residents of the area and our guests—which means no crowds, just quiet lake vibes. Unlike many other beaches in Tiny, Thunder Beach has a sandy lake bottom (not rocky!), making it perfect for swimming, paddle boarding, and soaking up the serene surroundings.
